Promised Land
2013- Ongoing
site-specific intervention, photographic documentation
Dimensions variable
The Promised Land project is a series of site-specific interventions in the public realm that are documented through photography. The interventions transform found real estate signs, which originally read "commercial land" to "promised land".
The interventions expose and question the ethos of the American Dream and it's allusions of upward mobility in the midst of financial crises, Wall Street corruption, predatory home lending, and an ever-increasing wealth gap.
